Which is the best of the 1994 Jim Carrey films?

That's tough, I like them all equally and they're all genre classics. Is 94 Carrey one of the GOAT years for an actor?

Some years to consider.

Brando - 1972: The Godfather & Last Tango in Parish
Pacino - 1992: Scent of a Women & Glengarry Glen Ross (Won an Oscar for one movie, nominated for best supporting actor in another)
DeNiro - 1995: Heat & Casino
Spacy - 1995: Usual Suspects & Seven
Dicaprio - 2006: The Departed & Blood Diamond
Michael Douglas - 1987: Wall Street & Fatal Attraction

Hard to argue otherwise. Not to mention it was a hell of an introductory year for him as he was a relative unknown prior to '94.

Pet Detective is the movie I've seen the least, although it's the only one of those films that got a decent sequel. Actually, I've watched When Nature Calls more often than its predecessor.

Yeah, all of those movies lend themselves to being franchises and it's surprising that Hollywood didn't milk the Mask and Dumb and Dumber when he was at his peak. I've heard so many bad things about Dumb and Dumber To that I haven't bothered to watch it.

I think Dumb & Dumber has been on syndicated movie loop for a long, long time. That's the winner to me.

Dumb & Dumber and some acid is a good time.

Dumb & Dumber is easily the best movie of that group imo. One of my favorite comedies ever.

Yeah Dumb and Dumber I think is less tied to a specific time period. Ace Ventura and Mask are definitely '90's' comedies, especially in the case of Pet Detective where the entire plotline and jokes around Einhorn's gender swap wouldn't fly today.

Dumb & Dumber

The dead bird scene selling it to the blind kid always gets to me. Pretty bird.
