Good signing I guess, but it all depends on if he stays healthy.

He would definitely fit the system aka iso ball pnr.

Kemba hasn't played since Feb. He got benched with the Knicks, then was cut by the pistons. Most teams wouldn't consider him "help".

Such a bizarre season

Just a lot of talent around. Every team can win.

Similar to Lebron, Luka's shit brand of ball will need super-team talent to win

And even with super-teams, the shit brand of ball will mostly lose and field underwhelming teams

Overachieved and beat the 1 seed with no talent. 3 stars vs 1

So the opposite has been proven to be true.

Jordan upset the #1 SRS team in 1989 by playing far better than Luka ever has, but he was still far away from a title, just like Luka

Luka's ball-dominance ran off a stud like Brunson, which confirms that he lacks the teammate development, fits and brand of ball to win organically.

Heck, Jordan would've won the title with a stud like Brunson setting him up and a Horry-level role player at SF

Lukas style beat a far more talented team, so you don't have a point

You said it underachieves, buts it's been proven to overachieve in a big way

Similar to LeBron in Cle who overachieved every season, and in LA turning the worst franchise to champions within 2 years

overachieving isn't winning the title.. Luka and Lebron were waxed by superior brands of ball (22' Warriors or 07' Spurs)

To win the title, spotty-shooting ball-dominators like Lebron, Luka and Magic need super-teams

btw, the 89' Cavs had a 20/5/5 guy as their 4th best player - they had more talent than the Sun's

The most talented team wins 99% of the time

The Warriors won last year because they were the most talented. Bulls in the 90s had the most talent, lakers early 2000s

Lukas style is fine and overachieves with inferior talent, so the opposite of your point is true

Overachieving is fine but his team ceiling is insufficient for a title due to weak brand of ball (strategy, chemistry, teammate development)

The most talented team wins 99% of the time

Not even close to being true.

Brand of ball usually overcomes small talent deficits, and sometimes moderate ones and even occasionally a few massive ones.. Luka or Jordan's upset win are a few of many - too many to list and certainly a lot more than 1%.

Maybe you forget but Jordan had another upset win the 2nd Round of 1989 against Ewing's Knicks by averaging 36/9/10... And only a Pippen collapse once the series was tied 2-2 caused loss to the Bad Boys - Pippen had 0 points and 7 points in the last 2 games.

The Warriors won last year because they were the most talented. Bulls in the 90s had the most talent, lakers early 2000s

Wiggins at 2nd option and injured Klay?

It's amazing that Curry won with that.. Lebron could never win with that... Ball-dominators lack sufficient brand of ball to successfully carry the scoring load against top teams (too ball-dominant), so they need all-time scoring help like Kareem, Wade, Kyrie or AD.. They could never win with secondary producers like Wiggins, Pippen, Lowry, Pau, or Terry because they can't carry the scoring load like an expert jumpshooter can (Curry, MJ, Kobe, Dirk, Kawhi).

The Suns had CP3/Ayton - that's better than Wiggins at 2nd option and injured/old Klay...

The Celtics had Jaylen Brown, DPOY Smart, and more.. The Nets and Lakers had better 2nd options and led the preseason odds, but brand poor brand of ball destroyed both teams (poor strategy, chemistry, and teammate development)

The last thing the Mavs need is an iso scorer who plays no defense. What are they thinking?

They do need iso scoring off the bench.
