Sure, guys like Connie Hawkins, Dr. J, and Wilt could palm the ball. However, none of them used the skill like Mike. Fake passes, fake shots, one-handed catches, mid-air redirections to avoid the defense. Nobody took advantage of palming the basketball more than MJ did.
And the best part? It was style AND substance. It looked cool and was also effective. Kind of sums up his entire offensive game.
