The AFC and NFC East both have a chance. We could be witnessing history even if we have to see the dreadful commanders get bounced by 20 points in the wildcard game
Since the change to four divisions per conference in the 2002 season, three teams making the postseason from the same division has happened nine times. Only once before have two divisions had three playoff teams in the same year and never in the NFL's history has an entire division advanced to the playoffs.

The NY Giants have a record of 7-4 despite an overall scoring differential of -7
The Jaguars have a record of 4-7 despite an overall scoring differential of +12

Edit it looks too easy for the Seahawks and the Giants/Commanders play each other and other divisional opponents.
Also the Bengals and Ravens look like playoff locks so the Jets/patriots will be on the outside looking in..

It wasn't possible for this to happen before 2020. The top 4 seeds were division winners and the two wildcards were the best records after that. Now there's 3 wildcards?

You do realize this is only possible due to them, unnecessarily, expanding the playoffs to 14 teams. So yeah, of course this would be the first time, it literally wasn't possible before :lol

Technically it was possible from 1990-94 when the NFC west had 4 teams. But the Rams were garbage back then :oldlol:
