I have Giannis ahead of AD based on accomplishments and durability, but if you stop and think about it, AD being better isn't all that far-fetched. Both are elite defensively, and both can be unstoppable on offense. The thing that AD has is that he can make free throws when you need him to. Giannis can't, and that's a serious flaw.

Last night Davis hung on the rim for an extended period of time , while his feet are 18 inches from the ground. At least 6 times !!!!!!!!!
When are the refs going to call him out.

The comparison’s not as ludicrous as it sounds, though Giannis is still clearly better overall to me. He’s a much more dependable playmaker, and that‘s mainly why he’s the better player to build around: he forces the defense to make more adjustments than AD does since he’s the more multiskilled offensive player.

Plus, AD has yet to engineer a postseason run like Giannis has the last-two years, much less as the clear-cut leader. Not saying he’s incapable of doing so in a conducive situation; it’s just that he hasn’t proven it yet.

Credit to The Brow last night, though. He was the best player on the floor, and he’s really been stepping up to nurse the Lakers’ playoff hopes.
