Is there anyone on the list with no glaring weaknesses that provides the most flexibility in offensive and defensive strategy?

So now AD's better than a guy he just had in his top 10. Another flip flop for this fakkit :lol

I'm sure you'd take AD over peak Shaq & Hakeem too.

I'm not convinced you could drop Giannis onto any team and get the same results. The Bucks have had a lot of continuity and are really built around him. He knows his teammates well, and they know how him. Giannis even has his brother there in Milwaukee for added stability and continuity, which I think helps him a lot.
The other three guys are much more skilled/talented (depending how you define it) and probably rely less on comfort, familiarity and consistency to be effective. If you were to put those guys on a completely new team and expect them to elevate its level, I dont know that Giannis is the same Giannis, at least until he's had plenty of time to adjust and maybe the team makes a few trades. I could be wrong about that but that's my sense.
If I'm taking these guys off their current teams and trading them somewhere else, I take Joker first, then Embiid (probably equal to AD at their best, but Embiid more consistent), then Giannis then AD.
AD is the least consistent in terms of both play, and injury availability. Giannis I have reservations about in a new environment. Joker and Joel are close, Joker just a bit more universal.

AD
Embid
Giannis
Jokic
If that is the criteria, how can you not choose Joel? This eliminates his number one weakness.
He hasn't been healthy at all this season and still has put up those numbers.

There is no way you find Embiid more reliable in the playoffs than Giannis.
I find Joker hard as well.
To me Giannis is pretty clearly above all these guys. They simply havent reached his level, and you cant just write it all down to his team and continuity.

If he is 100% healthy why isn't he?
Joel's play in the playoffs has diminished because of his health.

Giannis's game lends itself to new teams IMO. Jokic could potentially not be on the same page as his guys, Embiid gets weird when things start to turn sideways, and Davis is a wildcard in general with his health.
On a new team you know you're going to get Giannis being a terror and wearing people out on both ends. I would take that as a floor over any of the others.

People have to remember, until the final series of the 2021 playoffs, Giannis was considered a playoff choker/disappointment. A lot of people seem to forget. Bucks lucked into the finals in a lot ways that year, and Giannis (and Bud) both took a lot of flack for their lack of consistency along the way.
Then he beasted against the Suns, but they inexplicably chose not to 'build the wall.' This isnt a hindsight criticism, people were confused at the time why they werent 'building the wall,' which was considered the best attempt to deter GA. If Phoenix does it, the narrative could be waaaaay different right now.
He was a monster against Boston last year too, (albeit without Timelord) so I give him credit for that. But to act like he's been some playoff titan throughout his career? That is suuuuuper revisionist history.
As I said, he's a great fit on the team he's on currently, and he seems very comfortable there. He knows how to get those guys involved, and they know how to play off him. I'm not sure he's a guy who quickly adapts to new situations. I think his game is very clunky, and repetitive. Milwaukee has been built to maximize it. I dont know that happens as easily everywhere. What if he has to change slightly to fit another group of players? Is there much versatility in his play style?
As I said, it might. I'm not saying this is a certainty, just a feeling. And I think people see Giannis thru very selective lenses, with a lot of recency bias. People did this with Kobe too. They just forget all his clunkers and act like the guy who dropped 81 was the guy you get every night. That really is not how it's gone with Giannis in the playoffs at all.
