The one thing that big Bron fans like myself can't ever excuse is how shit he played in the 2011 finals. You can replace him with current Wiggins and the Heat would still win

So yes the 2011 Heat would have definitely won with current Luka

Lebron and Luka differ only in clutch stats - Lebron shot poorly and averaged 11.5 turnovers per 48 minutes of clutch time in the 2009 ECF, which is why he lost as the massive favorite to an injured, 1-star team, along with his poor defensive decisions and brand of ball.

Lebron simply choked against Finals teams in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 until Wade taught him how to perform under pressure in 2012.

It's impossible to win a close series if the 1st option is turning the ball over 11.5 times per game.

That's what Lebron was doing in clutch time (last 5 minutes within 5 points) of the 2009 ECF., while also wetting the bed in the critical Game 4 OT that swung the series.

In addition to his clutch-time turnover machine and OT choke, Lebron's size and agility was needed to defend Lewis and Hedo but Lebron opted to defend a low-producing, shooting guard (Lee) - this was a disastrous decision that wasted the Cavs' main advantage (lebron's size and athleticism).

So Lebron choked in the 09' ECF, while also wetting the bed severely against Finals teams in 07', 08', 10', and 11'.. We all remember him squandering a 2-1 lead as the favorite in the 10' ECSF by averaging 21 on 34% for the last 3 games.. Lebron's losses as the favorite for 3 straight years (09-11') caused oddsmakers to make his super-team the underdog to Westbrick in the 12' Finals..

4 turnovers per games in that series. Averaged 38/8/8/1/1 on 59% ts

It's impossible to win a close series if your supporting cast doesn't show up

That was baseball Jordan and the Bulls lost because Pippen averaged 19 on 40% with worst-ever passing, efficiency, clutch, and spacing among 90's sidekicks

Jordan lost the least-ever with an all-star teammate (the baseball year and the migraine year), while also never losing as the favorite, in the Finals or with a good team (1 or 2 seed)

18 on 38% from Mo is pretty good, but Lebron never beat a top 5 SRS team with poor scoring and efficiency from a sidekick, while MJ did all the time and won Finals that way

Unfortunately, ball-dominators lack sufficient brand of ball to successfully carry the scoring load against top teams (too ball-dominant), so they need all-time scoring help like Kareem, AD, Wade or Kyrie... Otoh, expert jumpshooters can score a lot while the ball moves, so they can carry the scoring load against top teams and win with secondary producers like WIggins, Pippen, Lowry, Terry or Pau... See the difference?
