Relax bud. Victor hasn't even played an NBA game yet.

Wembanyama isn't even a rookie yet. Porzingas should be better at most things although I don't see how you compare them when one of them isn't even in the league.

The more you think about it, what is Wembayama supposed to do so much better than guys like KP and Bol Bol? The comparisons seem pretty fair, and altho maybe he proves to be a bit more consistent as a shooter, it’s hard to really imagine him really being a generational star. Extreme height does limit you in some ways. The sweet spot physically appears to be in the Lebron/Giannis/Zion range.

Ofc he could prove me wrong, but I think the “GOAT” predictions seem a bit overzealous at this point.

This.

I hate to quote 3ball, but he is right that there's just a limit for what a very tall player can do today, unless they're a knockdown shooter like Durant.

What good is it that Bol Bol and Zingis can dribble the ball?

They can't do it well enough to make it a primary focus of their game. Durant is 6'9'' and already pushing it and should be called for carry all the time.

As I wrote in my Zingis post, then the best these players can do is be 3-and-D centers, but these mobile bigs are usually not good rebounders and get bullied, so they don't play center, but Power Forward and that takes away some of their use on defense.

It's way too early to make any conclusions. Let this guy pack his bags and arrive at NBA first.

Did op really just compare an established first round pick, to a kid?

Classic

That's classic :durantunimpressed: (https://noaccountcasinos.io). Even though, Wen looks really nice right now. Promising kid.

OP obviously doesn't know what potential means

imagine if all players stayed as good as they were before entering the league and this thing called primes was just an old wives tale

that being said he'll have foot injuries throughout his career and be mostly a disappointment. he will average around 20 points tops and maybe make 2 or 3 allstar games
