She switched to independent, but keep in mind though that she has voted historically with Democrats 93% of the time. Her state is also becoming more liberal so she has to win back liberals if she is to have any chance of keeping her seat in next election. Warnock win also gives Democrats a cushion from either Sinema or Manchin.
