Only when Lebron received elite spacing was his stiff arm capable of MVP or having a contender/league favorite - Mo's spacing took them from whimpering, 45-win underdog to towering, league favorite.. Without elite spacing, Lebron's skillset was only winning 45 games with a 2x all-star center, a 22/5/5 acquisition, top 5 defenses. and insane rebounding help.

Otoh, expert jumpshooters can shoot over defenses, so they don't need spacing and can win MVP without it.. See MJ in 88' with rookie lane-clogger Pippen.. Lebron wouldn't be MVP-caliber alongside Pippen like he was alongside Mo and Ray and Kyrie's spacing
