Just the right combination of 3 & D with a stacked front court and built for Bran to hog the ball and kick it out to competent shooters. That's not how it works. Magic doubled Kobe even off-ball while they played Bran in single coverage. You're leaving out the context & act like Bran is the same player in a completely different system. Good luck averaging those numbers without dominating the ball on every possession while also getting doubled.

I watched more basketball that year than I will ever watch again in my life. '09 lebron kobe and wade had me mesmerized and they would drop superstar performances every night. that was the strongest year for perimeter-play in NBA history.


2009 mo was a good regular season player and those cavs didnt have talent but they played VERY hard on defense and they had chemistry on offense. lebron would feed bums like varejao for dunks at the rim and bums like delonte west and mo for open threes all game long.



that team was awful and had a very low ceiling and got exposed very easily. they didnt have a single serviceable guard or wing over 6'3 and they had an expired ilgauskas at center and a talentless varejao at 4. and had nothing off the bench.
