Poll coming

Probably a game where he goes 2/10 from three and the Lakers lose.

My prediction if one of the three below

1 - Madison Square Garden
2 - In LA
3 - At home or on road vs Warriors.

Hopefully Russ doesn't rock the baby in whatever game it is.

I predict he does it the first week of March, I'll pick March 5th vs. the Warriors.

Think it happens on February 23 vs the Warriors, but could go to March as Lebron will sit a couple of games. Especially some back-to-backs.

LeBron would have to average 32 ppg between now and the Knicks game on Jan 31st if he wants to break the record in MSG. Probably won't happen.

I predict he'll break the record on Feb 23rd against the Warriors

Nike D'Antoni

On December 27, 28. Lebron might miss a game for back-to-backs. Same for January 30 & 31 ( Brooklyn, Knicks). Though NBA probably won't like it if he misses the MSG game.

On March 7 Lakers will retire Pau Gasol's number too.

The end of January isn't looking unlikely now. Lebron dropping 30 every game now.

The projected date now is 2/11/23, on road vs Warriors.

He now dropped 47, I feel this is starting to head to Madison Square Garden.

Since you made this thread, LeBron's averaging 33.6 ppg over his last 10 and has missed only 2 of the Lakers last 20 games.

As of now, I'll change my prediction to early February, I'll go with February 9th against the Bucks.

Maybe March.

They will load manage LeBron.

178 to go

To do it in MSG on January 31, Lebron needs to average 44.5.

35.6 ppg if he wanna do it in Indiana.(feb 2)
29.6 ppg vs Pelicans. (feb 4)
25.4 ppg vs thunder (feb 7)

Nike D'Antoni
01-25-2023, 01:38 AM
I think now he will average 44.5 and do it in MSG.

It totally depends if he's sitting out the 2nd game of b2b's. If he is, I predict it's gonna happen either 2/9 vs. the Bucks or 2/11 vs. the Warriors.

Just before the allstar break so they can celebrate him during allstar weekend. Book it.

just want to remind everyone , Kareem started playing pro ball at the age of 22 for a 20 year span. All time leading scorer and for when he retired it was pretty un- heard of a center playing that long, because of the abuse on the legs , 'because of the abuse on a taller player to run the floor'.

Lebron James never played college , so he voided 4 years of college play.
He has played exactly the same amount of NBA time as Kareem , and has used the 3 point line to accumulate 2221 attempted points.

he is playing at a high level for his age , and with watching him his whole career , he took a lot of plays off on the defensive side of the floor. Kareem never had that luxury because he was considered on his team the last defense for his teams.

Both players are amazing to watch , but my hat is tipped to Kareem.

(think of Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron)

lol at thinking Kareem was this defensive force as he aged. His rebounding & defense took a big fall once he aged, Wilt used to talk mess about Kareem for those reasons.

Any chance he'll pull a Barry Sanders and bow out gracefully short of the record?

hope he load manages some upcoming games, so he can break it on Feb 9th or Feb 11th. those ones would be iconic.

At home with Kareem attending. That way the game can be stopped, KAJ can come out onto the court to pass the torch to the new scoring King!

It'll be the hottest ticket in the country.

It's happening vs the Pacers Pelicans or Thunder.

He's gotta get it done at home.

Use load management as an excuse to get it done for the hometown fans if he is close.

OKC or Bucks.

30 ppg for OKC, 22.25 ppg for Bucks.
Provided no games he misses.

I want to see him break the record against the Bucks on 2/9. Would be perfect.

With no b2b's I'd be very surprised, barring some injury, if he sits out any of the upcoming games. My guess is Ham and the team just want to get this over with so they can focus on making a playoff push.

If AD did not play, I was defo going for OKC. But with AD taking shots away, I think it will be the Bucks.

LeBron James has averaged 34.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 7.3 assists in 19 games without Anthony Davis this season.

Right now the Bucks game would be the logical choice, though he can for sure do it against OKC as well. It'll take something insane for him not to do it in one of these two games.
