Was he always 240 lbs?

I thought he was like a 220-225 guy. If he HAS put on weight then maybe that has something to do with his defense in the paint.

he's either young and improving or off to a hot start

He's only 23 and he was supposed to have the highest ceiling in his draft class IIRC. If he can keep up this stat rate with more minutes he will be an all-star and all-nba.

I dont watch a ton of nets or grizzlies but something tells me jaren jackson jr is infinitely better at defense

I haven't followed his career, but I always thought he was one of the most talented prospects of that draft class.

The similarities to KG are obvious, with great athleticism and defensive instincts and also 3 point range.
