He’s making 6 million this year. He will probably play for 20. This guy has a pretty epic streak of nothing he does mattering.
He was supposed to be somebody…
Had a good little career I guess but…he was a name for a while there.

The one that shocks me even more is Mitch Richmond's playoff career. He's a hall of famer, and before he won the 2002 championship with the Lakers (where he rode the bench) he only made the playoffs 3 times and won a total of 9 playoff games prior to that.

That's almost statistically impossible, to hang around the league for two full presidential administrations, and never play in a single playoff game past the 2nd round. Even McGrady managed to make the Finals riding the bench.
He had a better career than most players will though. And he did miss one playoffs due to injury.

It’s weird you made a thread out of nowhere about Toody Gay’s 15 year journey from max player to irrelevant scrub, because I was literally about to do the same.
But youre right, he has a strangely unique career arc.

Weren’t you one of the guys who say team achievements don’t change how good of a basketball player someone is? I might be mistaken but i’m pretty sure i’ve heard this argument from you before.

Obviously if he spent his career with great players he’d have more playoff success despite being the same person. Did I say something that contradicts that?
