I was looking at Rodman's stats in his 5 NBA titles and Draymond is just the better player.

Dennis Rodman averaged 8.9 rebounds, 4.9 points and 1.3 assists in 33 games in the NBA Finals in his career.

Draymond Green has averaged 11.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 33 games in the NBA Finals in his career.

Imagine having to face someone better than prime Rodman four times a row in the finals, instead of colluding with Rodman so you DONT have to face him.

Just shows a clear difference in competitive drive.

Yeah, it’s no wonder they won 73 games one of those years. Theres no way anybody was taking a 7 game series from them in the finals that season.

1996 NBA Finals was the only finals Rodman's impact was felt. but still Kemp outplayed him in that series. Kemp was the best player in that series.

MJ also carried non prime Rodman to 3 chips.

Kemp was guarded by Longley that series. Phil made the switch after game 1. Granted, Kemp did outplay Rodman in game 1.

I always thought Rodman was grossly overrated. His numbers go down across the board in the playoffs while Dray's goes up.
Rodman led the league in rebounds what, 8 times. Only led it twice in the playoffs.

Would take Detroit Pistons Rodman over prime Draymond.

Thought Rod was overrated in Chicago mainly because of the boards he pulled down. By 1998, his production fell off and he was coming off the bench.

1998 was Rodman's 7th consecutive season in leading the league in rebounds at 15pg.

Right. Like I said, pulling down boards wasn't really the issue. Though even that dropped to like 8 in the finals.

In 98, Rodman became a headache, wouldn't practice and his minutes were cut short.

He wasn't a bad player or anything. Just not what he was in Detroit. Or even his first year with Chicago.

Great. He still was benched at times in the playoffs. Latecareer Rodman played for rebounds the way Westbrook does. He gave up defensive assignments to position for rebounds. When he was forced to actually defend his rebound numbers significally dropped.

97 and especially 98 Rodman just wasn't as good as earlier iterations. In 96 he was absolutely vital for the Bulls, but comparing Rodman to Dray is absurd. Total different roles on titles teams.
