The man started out horribly, but seems to have found his rythm now.

In the last 10 games he's on:

17 ppg on 46% from 3 and that's on 9 attempts.

Someone must be looking at THJ if this continues and think he solves their outside shooting problems or to have as a 6th man.

Mavs like Timmy, but I think they move him for a better center if they can package him with say Bertans.

Who makes a move?

Interesting.

I would not be against that.

Rudy, I feel is mostly done as a difference maker, but maybe you disagree? Could play some spot minutes as a corner 3 guy.

Clarkson is a big time draw, he could definitely play the Brunson role and that would help A LOT.

Still doesn't help the defense issue with this, but it does improve offense by a lot.

I'd want to do this trade though:

Clarkson, Olynyk and Gay

for

THJ and Bertans

They take 2 years of Gay for taking 3 years of Hardaway. Gay was their leader in +/- before his injury. Not sure where he's at now

not sure if both of their contracts are guaranteed through 3 years? Olynyk only has a partial guarantee next year I think. I'd be up for it depending on the draft compensation for taking on all that money down the road and reducing the Mavs tax bill. Anything to get rid of the bum!

Who's the bum you're referring to here? Olynuk?

the worst shooter on the team taking the most shots and turning it over the most. Olynyk has game

dallas is not getting productive players for bertans without attaching picks imo. If I want an upgrade at center, i'm looking to trade powell and have my center rotation be wood and new guy. for some depth, I rather keep hardaway and trade bullock.

Yeah, but Bullock has zero trade value right now.

I don't like Hardaway, because he is way too limited for the role Mavs need. He can only shoot, that's it, nothing else. No driving, no defense, no passing. That would be fine on a more balanced team, but Mavs also have DFS and Bullock who also can do nothing but shoot on offense.

Mavs need a more balanced wing starter and a better center. I agree on trading Dwight as well, because he is decent as an energy backup.

If you want actual value back, I think you need to attach THJ who is actually capable of playing at an elite level (but limited). I guess you could keep Bertans and go with THJ/Dwight and then you might actually get some value back, because those two do have some value.

Javale can't play in Kid's system.

Complete bomb.

I'd be looking to trade him as soon as he is eligble.

Perfectly balanced.

No joke, this would be a great outcome for Mavs.

fair about bullock but i think with hardaway's salary he's a negative asset rn too. Deal framework is good but dallas doesnt want gay, he's done

you get rid of the 3rd year of Hardaway for another year of Gay who is part of a rotation that is ahead of Dallas in the standings. Maybe Danny is in the holiday spirit and throws in a pick or something

Utah Phoenix and Atlanta are supposed to be talking about a trade with some of these pieces
