Stern loved Jordan. He even changed the rules for Mike. The NBA became an Mickey Mouse league.

NBC's Dick Ebersol loved MJ as well. That's why he had the network out-bid CBS for the NBA rights, and he turned the NBA into a TV show rather than a sport (with MJ as the good guy).

It's funny because the Bulls benefitted by NOT winning in 1990 because if they won they would've stopped getting better - by losing in 90', they kept getting better and were so good by the time they won that it was clear that they were going to win for a long time.. So thanks Pippen for choking off the title in 90'.. i never thought i'd say that

One of the reasons why thomas still doesn't respect jordan these days.

He respects him all right. So does MJ in return

They just hated each other's guts

first one was BS. 2nd was a good flagrant call. 3rd was BS

we all knew MJ was protected. which is why its hard for me to put him over Kobe because he actually got beat up pretty badly and had many games where the refs wouldn't give him anything. thats the difference between being a hated villain and the leagues cash cow

both lebron and MJ's titles have a lot of question marks

NBA banned handchecking and went away from playing defense after Bran struggled his rookie season..

If that's true, then they would have been heckling each other in the previous all-star game.
