I'm taking Booker, his ability to shoot the 3 puts him over poor shooting yet explosive Prime D.Wade

Yea a guy who handles the ball better, SHOOTS MUCH BETTER, probably a slightly better defender, but a little less explosive is so far fetched to be chosen over the latter.
Like Wade, you can play Booker at the PG as well

Both suited to different eras.
If you drop Booker in 2009, his team will not know how to use him as effectively as today and he simply wont produce the same numbers and impact.
However if you put prime Wade into today's game, Booker may well be the more productive player because of how his skillset suits the current game.
So it's just an era thing IMO.

DING DING DING, Wade can't shoot. His mid-range shooting ability isn't even as good as Jimmy Butler or Derozan. Jimmy Butler is probably the player he's closes too, but Butler is 2-3 inches taller.
And personally guards who can't shoot make my skin crawl, thats why I've never liked Rondo's game.

The answer is no. What do I mean by 'no', you ask? Really think about this comparison.

I’m pretty sure that happens to him outside prison too.

Both aren't ideal 1st options
But Booker is an ideal 2nd option, so I take him. The chances they win as a 1st options are slim, so you take the guy who's a better 2nd
Booker > Wade
Same reason I'd take Klay over Harden any day. But that's more controversial. Booker is close to Wade in many areas, just a significantly better shooter.

How is Jimmy Butler, Ja Morant, and Demar Derozan, getting by without a shot, but Wade suddenly regresses?
He'd be equally as effective if not more due to fact that teammates around him spread the floor like never before.

I'd take prime Wade overall. Booker is looking better every season though.

What's with the obsession on this forum with Booker lately?
He's clearly the best SG in the NBA, but his competition is what exactly? Mitchell, George, Edwards, Harden, Lavine?
What areas are Booker close to or better than Wade? Yes, he's a better shooter. But aside from that, Wade is better at everything else. Booker has made zero defensive teams, nor ever averaged 2 steals nor 1 block.
Booker has never led the league in scoring. Booker has never averaged 7+ assists. Meanwhile Booker plays in a much faster paced era with less physicality and rules to promote scoring (clear path, take fouls, allowed gather steps, everything is a flagrant, etc).
Booker is very dynamic scorer and is a rising star, but you're essentially suggesting that he is on pace to be the consensus 3rd/4th best SG you ever play the game. That's an idiotic premise.

Following his first option ring and Finals MVP run in 2006 …
In the 2007 season before the shoulder injury Wade was going for 28/8/8 with first or second team caliber defense. Dragging a Shaq less Heat team with the corpses of J-Will, GP, Antoine Walker etc
He was the best player in the sport at that time. No bullshit.

booker is immensely talented.
having said that, when i watch him play, i see a guy who's able to do the things he does because of how shackled the defense is. i'm not saying he wouldn't be a good player in a past era, he clearly would be. but he doesn't rank next to the best wing players from years past who were bigger and stronger and more skilled. call me a hater i don't give a fukk. you can't even touch these guys.
give me wade in his prime.

Wade for sure. As people said Booker is talented and we'll see what he does as his career progresses but even talent wise I'm not convinced he's on Wade's level.
