I'm sure it would be on the shortlist of any great sports weekend.

And Brady blew an 18 point lead in the '06 Title Game just FYI, and I believe against Buffalo in 2011.

Mine will still be Jose Bautista's bat-flipping happening the same night as Sebastian Giovinco's golazo.

You are right, he blew 21-0 lead to the Bills in 2011.

Add LeBron's game winning assist just now to the list.

Call it GOAT football weekend and it would be ok. On a global scale american football just isn't recognized much. Not many people care if Mahomes nearly loses to a 1-win team in the RS. Most people don't even know who Mahomes is.

I'm sure there were weekends with more stuff happenening before.

I actually remember that date, it was Mayweather/Pacquiao and Clippers/Spurs Game 7. What else happened though, the Kentucky Derby?

There was Yankees/Red Sox, the NFL Draft, the beginning of the second round of the NHL playoffs. Just lots of great stuff. Maybe the best lineup on a single day. This weekend may have been the craziest in terms of results.

Soccer does not belong on this list.

That Bills/Phins game was really good.

And that's the only Soccer game I've seen probably in the last 4-5 years and it was the best soccer game I've ever seen. Mbappe just went beast mode in the second half and put that entire team on his back.

Why not?

Soccer does not belong on this list.

The biggest sporting event in the world doesn't belong on the list? :oldlol: I wonder if Americans realize their contempt for soccer makes them look stupid to the entire world.

So I am supposed to believe that the "greatest of all time sports weekend" had a couple impressive NFL games and a good world cup final? How sad is the history of sports if this past weekend is the best that has ever existed?
