LeBron put up 33/9/7 with zero turnovers and was +10 in a game his team won by 2, you'd have to be pretty retarded to think he wasn't the primary reason they won. I don't even think LeBron is a superstar anymore, but if you can't admit basic stuff like when he carries a team to a win, it's just sad.

Comparing averages across eras again... Wilt is the GOAT then by your own logic and Elgin Baylor is better than Bran too, right? Look at the averages.

There's 8 guys averaging ~30 a game right now ffs. KB played in an era (Early 2000s) where there were barely any players averaging 25+ a game. In '04 only 1 player averaged more than 25 a game and the 2nd leading scorer put up 24.2.. can't compare numbers like that.

Indeed. Kobe was only 25 years old when LeBron entered the league. It's bizarre to pretend LeBron's numbers are a product of the era when he was handily outproducing Kobe even when their careers overlapped (2004-2016). And if we pretend it's been a different league post-2016 due to GS popularizing the 3 and small ball, LeBron's career even till 2016 would at worst make him one of the 3 most statistically dominant players ever. Kobe wasn't anywhere close to that level.

stats being inflated doesn’t matter much when no one else has been this good at lebrons age or into year 20. Saw this on Reddit, lebron has 9 30 point games this year. Before him, there were 7 combined 6 of which were from kobe from guys in year 20 or later. Kareem is the only other guy in history who was a top 15-20 player at 38 and that was his last year at that level

They really need to give him more shots lol. Speaking of ranking players I still think Westbrook is for all intents and purposes the worst player in the league considering minutes and usage. This is legitimately a playoff team if you replace him with Monte ****ing Morris. He has singlehandedly cost them so many games the last two years it's unbelievable.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I've seen you make this point several times and think you're completely wrong on the subject. Yes, he played poorly to start the year, but since he's come back from injury he's averaging 28/9/6 (not counting tonight), a nearly month long sample size. He's played great in the majority of those games, he's now scored 30+ four games in a row, and it's been leading to wins, with the Lakers going 8-4 during that span.

It seems pretty clear he's recovering from a slow start and seems to be hitting his stride now. Gun to your head, I refuse to believe you're actually taking the likes of Sikam, Trae, Haliburton & Jaren fcking Jackson over LeBron for this season :lol That's an ImKobe/tpols take.

I don't trust 38 year old players who get injured a lot, you really don't think he might just be on a hot streak? I said JJJ only if he keeps playing like he has been btw and he hasn't played much. Halliburton has a pretty shitty supporting cast in playoff contention btw.

Trae isn't that laughable if he ever stops bricking every 3. Siakam is having an awesome year. Halliburton is underrated because he's new to being a star. We'll see if LeBron can maintain this level of play and not get hurt. I wouldn't count on it.

Yea I gave up this year on trae even if he makes 3s, hawks are a shitshow and their scheme is lazy. Just have a hard time putting siakam over lebron and his team is almost as bad as the lakers right now. Hali is most interesting but think his defense holds him back vs bron. Yes he leads Indiana but they have some other good players in Turner hield and mathurin

Not like LeBron is a good defender either at this point of his career and Halliburton has been more impactful offensively. Dude is gonna be the new CP3 if he can become a good defender.

Shamless? You celebrated Kobe's final game where he scored 60 points on like 50 shots for a 15-17 win team, lol.

if this was a retirement tour for lebron I might've given him a break but he's holding the franchise hostage at this point

LeBron played in 2004 :lol

And his 2012 finals was easily better than any of Kobe's.

And Bran was really inefficient that one year because it, now make him play under those rules for almost half of his career and you don't think the averages would be any different?

Bran '12 Finals is on par with Kobe's '09 Finals. He was slightly more efficient but couldn't hit any shots outside of the paint. KB assisted just as much and carried a bigger scoring load and did it while seeing more double teams, OKC wasn't even top 10 defensively so KB has the edge here.

Either way the point is that the defenses are getting worse with each season so that's helped Bran's career out by a lot as he came into the league 7 seasons after KB. When their primes sort of crossed from 08-10 they were very much on par with each other and that's with KB not being as athletic as he was in his mid-20s, when he played in a much tougher league where barely anyone got to 25+ ppg.

IDK why Bran stans have to be so insecure about Kobe though. Even when Bran has a great game & the Lakers win you guys want to rehash the same ol' tired debates that you always end up losing.

This dude holding back tears with every word:oldlol:

Lol you clowns are DUMB. The Lakers barely squeaked by the WIZARDS on a fluke. And Darvin Ham is an idiot for letting LeShrivel be the ball handler in clutch moments. All the dude does anymore is throw away games. He even airballed a lousy three with 40 seconds left on the clock. :lol

Mental gymnastics going hard here.

LeBron shot 47% and took very few shots outside the paint. Didnt need to. Kobe shot 43%. And was terrible in the 4th quarters. Bron grabbed 5 more boards and that settles it.

Whats your argument for defenses getting worse every year? Why would that be a thing? It's not. The talent pool is widening though and players are more explosive, offenses are better nowadays.

I don't trust 38 year old players who get injured a lot, you really don't think he might just be on a hot streak? I said JJJ only if he keeps playing like he has been btw and he hasn't played much. Halliburton has a pretty shitty supporting cast in playoff contention btw.

hot streak? This is LeBron James nikka :oldlol:

No surprise they keep losing in the clutch....and the ONE TIME the don't is when LeBarry loses the ball and gets bailed out by a scrub on a fluke

With westbrook on bench and AD out... Bron is going to play well. I've noticed even with decline it takes him 2 months to adjust his game.

Reaves bein a shooter has really gave mire space. Lonnie walker is playing defense bron is like poor man's 2018 version of himself.
