Not a huge fan of ham, altho I dont DIS-like it either. I'll definitely eat it up if you heap it on my plate.

I won't argue about overpriced, but definitely not overrated.

Hot ham and melted swiss on nice onion or slider bun, with horseradish.

Ham is for easter.

Christmas is a beef holiday - the ideal xmas meal is either prime rib or beef wellington.

our family was set in those ways as old Germany.
Now that I am old , anything goes.
If kids are home wife cook's up two dishes of lasagna.

prime rib is the true christmas feast. ham is okay but nothing to write home about usually. ham is best for breakfast. fry some up in the pan and then make your eggs after. good stuff.
