NFL legend Franco Harris dead at age 72

Started his career at Penn St. and spent the majority of his career in Pittsburgh. Then a brief forgettable stint with Seattle.

Pittsburgh planned on retiring his numbrr this Saturday in honor of the 50th anniversary of his Immaculate Reception. Therre are still those who argue the ball touched the ground.

RIP Franco.

He is long before my time, but anytime you hear about that legendary 70s steelers team, Franco Harris is probably the first name that comes to mind. He will live on in football lore as will the rest of that steelers team.
