Who wins in a best of 7 series? Both of these teams beat the Blazers in the NBA Finals. The Pistons were a healthy team in 1990.

The 89 Pistons were better, but just food for thought.
90 Bulls took the 90 Pistons to 7 games.

92' Pistons were better than 90' because Dumars and Rodman entered their prime

Unfortunately, their physical brand of ball was obsolete because the Bulls had developed a superior brand based on ball movement, finesse and spacing

Comparable on-paper talent due to Dumars/Rodman but the Bulls had already destroyed them and made their brand of ball obsolete

Not at all. Not only were guys like Laimbeer & Aguirre turning into liabilities, but by '92 they lost their insane depth that made them great, especially in '89. No more Vinnie, Mahorn, or Edwards. They peaked in '89.

They had all those guys in 91' and were favored to 3-peat

but they blown away in a 2014 Spurs -style destruction

So again, their brand of ball was made obsolete, which is why the big 3 of Isiah, Dumars and Rodman were finished as a unit despite being young

They didn't have Mahorn in '91.

Going off the basis that the 89 Bulls and 90 Bulls provided the toughest resistance to both championship Pistons squads, I would conclude any of the 90s Bulls teams beat either Pistons team, with varying degrees of difficulty depending on the year.

Bulls easily. Nobody stands against the Bulls and specially MJ in his prime.

With pippen that's already obvious.
