If Kobe let NJ draft and sign him at a such young age while losing more often than not?

I think his game evolves more with losing early while getting better + more experience in the starting lineup from the get go.

the east was trash from 1999 till the day kobe retired. and seeing as all kobe needed was Pau I don't think it would have ended well for you

if he has any kind of sidekick with 17/18ppg he makes the finals in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2009

and who's he playing? the franchise he's destroyed more than anyone in the post season? (sanantonio)

and who's to say the big 3 in Boston even still happens if Garnetts career in Minnesota isn't derailed in 2004 by kobe... if Garnett makes the finals that year instead then he likely stays his entire career... then kobes also going to.the finals out east in 2008 and 2010

Less NBA championships, probably more regular season MVP's.

Zero rings. Zero hype.

I could see him being viewed like a Carmelo or Arenas... offensive dudes who never won shit and were eventually viewed as cancers.

He probably has a similar career arc to T-Mac, who at one point, couple of years, got compared to Kobe and was wildly popular.

He'd have some crazy series against Lebron.

He might not have won as much, but he'd be just as popular, maybe even more. Lebron's career might suffer in comparison.
