on his right hand. One I didn’t know you could break a ligament… Two why are people so dumb? How the fk are you going to play through a broken thumb in basketball at an nba level?…everytime u catch the ball you’re gonna think about it and it’s gonna hurt. I already know he doesn’t play defense but he really can’t play it now…. Just take the 6 weeks off and let it heal jackass. no way you are this delousional that you think you can win nba games with a broken hand….you’re not that good kid

1: yes you have ligaments. They are what attaches your bones. They can be season-ending injuries especially when it's the ACL.
2. If he has enough pain tolerance he can play defense with it. Whereit may be a bigger issue is catching passes, rebounding(which is part of defense to contradict myself) and shooting if he's a righty. Your thumb isn't supposed to do anything beyond stabilizing the ball on a shot but the tear may throw that off.

Didn’t know you could “break ligaments” thought you could only tear them. Either they worded it weird or you can do both and I just never heard of anyone breaking a ligament
