A ball-dominator's reliance on driving requires the most spacing help and their imposition of spot-up roles stall young teammates (can't win organically), while also needing all-time scoring help due to weaker ability to carry the scoring load (insufficient brand of ball at carry-job volumes to beat top teams, aka too ball-dominant).

These historical trends hold true and they're also intuitive - other player types like expert jumpshooters need less spacing help because they shoot over defenses, while developing teammates better (organic winning) and carrying the scoring load better (sufficient brand at carry-job volume).

Accordingly, expert jumpshooters won with less help, aka secondary producers at sidekick like Wiggins, Pippen, Pau, Lowry or Terry, while ball-dominators required Kareem, AD, Wade and a constant need for more spacing.. It's a clear difference.

The all-time rankings should reflect that expert jumpshooters needed the least help followed by centers and ball-dominators - MJ, Kobe, Bird, Curry, Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq, Magic, Lebron, Durant, Hakeem.. Notice how the guys with "tainted" rings that needed collusions or incomplete league are grouped together (Magic, Lebron, Durant, Hakeem).. Durant is probably underrated historically and was about to win organically in 2012 like other expert jumpshooters but Lebron's "decision" stole his organic chip just like it did to Duncan and Curry in 13' and 16'.

Ultimately, only MJ has multiple carry-jobs against top teams - no one in history won a series over a top 5 SRS team with poor scoring and efficiency from a sidekick (15 on 40%) except one-offs by 94' Hakeem, 00' Shaq, 03' Duncan and Jordan 5 times.
