2008 at the raptors halftime show i met Leo rautins. guys a prick. didn't say a word and just did a circle for an autograph. threw it in the garbage after walking away

I met Kurt Thomas and a Knicks draft pick by the name of Pete Mickael. I don't think he ever played for the Knicks after being drafted, but he did shake my hand when I bricked 2 shots at the opening of my high school's new basketball courts sponsored by Hot 97, the Knicks, and Fubu.

Thomas signed my magazine and honestly, it was a pretty cool experience. My dad met Jermaine O'Neal. Poor guy didn't know he was with Stephen Jackson and asked Stak to take the picture (as in hold the camera) with him and Jermaine....and he did. lol

When I worked for Nike I met tons of nba players, never anything more than a handshake and a hello. Including KD, Kemba Walker, LaMarcus Aldridge, Monta Ellis, Gary Payton, Marc Jackson and tons more randos like Wesley Matthews, Patty Mills, Derrick Williams etc.

The only nba player I’ve had multiple, normal conversations with is Nate Robinson. -a good story about him- he came running into the store I worked at and I helped him get a pair of basketball shoes, he politely asked if I could hurry because the team bus was waiting to take them to the arena, and he had forgotten his shoes. He would come in every time he was in town, very friendly wit the staff, and would spend a ton of money on his kids.

I met Chris Paul in an airport in Beijing in 2009. He went out of his way to stop and talk to us and ask why we (a diverse group of American students) were in China. Met Ron Artest in the same airport when I came back two weeks later.
