A team of...

C - Jokic
F - Draymond
F - Bird
G - Ginobili
G - Nash

Would be pretty sexy on the offensive end. 3 elite shooters with 3 guys who could handle the ball if asked (Nash, Ginobili, & Draymond). Hell, Jokic is a pretty damn good ball-handler for a Center as well. Can't even imagine all the open shots this team would create.

PG - Stockton (Archibald)
SG - Jordan (Maravich)
PF - Lebron (Gasol)
SF - Bird (Luka)
C - Duncan (Jokic)

Learn basketball before 1989 because for the SF position you also have Gus Johnson

Pau does not belong for the best passing PFs that's a troll pick

Yes, a career 2.5 apg deserves to be in the discussion with Bird & LeBron. Where do you come up with this shit? LOL

Your problem is your analysis is always limited to stat sheets. Number of assists does not necessarily correlate to how good of a passer someone is. If it did, Westbrook would be one of the greatest passers of all time.

Not at all, Wilt averaged more assists than Walton during his prime, but wasn't anywhere near the passer.

You can't tell me a guy who averaged 2.5 apg his career deserves to be in the discussion with LeBron & Bird as a passer. That is retardation.

You literally never watched him play so no one cares what you think about Gus Johnson. If you actually watched film you'd see his passing wizardry.

You do this thing where you obviously don't know anything about a player, google the player's name and look them up on basketball-reference and then analyze them off of that. It was a much, much harder to get assists in his day.

If he played now he'd average at least double or triple the assists that he did especially if a player like Tyrese Haliburton can do it.

But I've wasted enough of my time just understand that it's clear to anyone that knows anything about basketball before 1989 (which is about 3 posters here including me) that you're a stan and not a fan

EDIT: Pau Gasol averaged 3.2 assists per game and you put him as one of the best passing PFs ever. You're literally brain dead

You obviously never watched him play either.

Only a retard believes Johnson deserves to be in the convo with LeBron & Bird.

Tell us again how Giannis is "done" as a player.

Pau Gasol averaged 3.2 assists per game but he belongs in a convo with C-Webb according your brain dead takes and you also omit Charles Barkley....

No one should take you seriously unfortunately google and basketball-ref can't teach you everything sorry

I never realized Webber averaged 7-8 apg like Bird & LeBron did some years.

Keep making yourself look more dumb.

Indeed. Webber is probably the best passing PF for a 6'10 or taller PFs but for real the best passing PF is Barkley regarding any height. Just watch him play and you'll see that.

Nah, Barkley was a good passer, but didn't have Pau's court vision.

If there was one PF I left out it's probably Diaw. Amazing passing skills. Maybe KG too.

SF: Hill, Pippen, Butler, Schrempf, Iggy

PF: Duncan, Mason, Odom, Bam

C: Sabonis, Divac, Unseld, Russell, Noah, Horford

just for the record if we use the lebron james criteria for GOAT scorer and translate it to assists among shooting guards. this would be the ranking

you got 2 right at least

PG - Magic Johnson ( not debatable )
SG - James Harden ( 5 seasons with double digit assist averages )
SF - Larry Bird ( came within the flow of the game unlike lebron. more trick passes than lebron )
PF - Chris Webber ( not even close )
C - Nikola Jokic ( already surpassed divac as king sloth playmaker )

Draymond getting easy assists in that warriors system isnt really impressive, tons of guys could have played that role and produced the same numbers.

Ginobili is kind of underrated but the best passer at the sg spot? :oldlol:

you obviously missed the irony/joke about my post. I'm making fun of your retarded lebron all time points agenda. I have manu top 3 for my SG playmaker because I'm not a longevity totals retard. it's called the eye test. that's our formula. not yours
