What if hypothetically, he wins another 5 rings in a row, break Kareem's record, scores another 100 triple double

Bron will have a GOAT case by the time he's retired. Quite a few will even give him that status after passing KAJ in points.
When its all said and done, though, Mike probably remains the consensus. Better peak and prime imo.

more? for it to be more he would need at least 1 already
To be fair, he's had some great finals series to go along with his chokes (ala 2011). If he passes up Jordan in FMVPs, he would at least have a legit case for GOAT. I mean, the chances of that happening are less than slim to none, so as far as I'm concerned, the GOAT ship has sailed, but in my mind, that's what it would take.

Nothing.
1. Too many disappearances at the end of crucial games.
2. Too afraid to go to the basket to get fouled because he knows he's a bad free throw shooter.
3. When the shot clock is winding down he is not the guy that his teammates go to when they need a bucket.
4. Hiding in the corner wanting nothing to do with the basketball while Kyrie has to do it himself for Cleveland to win the championship.
5. Has to ask for respect.
6. "Not one, not two, not three, not four...." turning into a colossal failure.
7. "Playoff mode activate" quote turns into a colossal failure.

facts are facts.
underdog in 7 of 10 finals. vegas odds.
only finals MVP in NBA history over a 70+ win team
played the spurs and warriors a combined a 7 times including some of the most lopsided odds in NBA history.
vegas never lies. look at the talent on both teams and spread for the 2007 spurs vs the 2007 cavaliers or the 2018 cavaliers vs the 2018 warriors. just lbj doing prime lbj things, carrying teams that had no business being there to the NBA finals.
the same morons that complain about buh buh dwade buh kyrie and AD buh buh getting carried by all superstars
will never mention that all of those players had injury issues with lbj going up against healthy stacked teams....

I've answered this a hundred times but here we go...
Lebron isn't quite as good as Jordan when comparing them in their primes but he can pass Jordan by having a better career... If Lebron manages to win more rings as the best player that improves his case rather significantly. With four rings he's the clear underdog, with five he's much closer, with six he passes him and with seven or more he's well clear. Right now he's behind MJ in rings, FMVP's, MVP's, scoring titles, DPOY's, all-defensive selections. Almost all major accolades he's behind. Most career points is nice but at best it's equal to one major accomplishment. Kareem's always had more career points and never considered better than Jordan by even a plurality of people.
he's already 1a 1b status right now. so he'd just have to roll out of bed and take a shit, and that might put him over the edge as undisputed 1a.
40k points will be overkill
the problem is his 4 "golds" aren't worth a damn due to lockouts, bail outs, bubble and suspensions. I would even let the colluding slide if he could turn those 6 losses into wins just to get 6 REAL titles
the hometown 2016 ring is the infinity war gauntlet gold medal ring
worth 5 rings

i will give lebron a serious and honest way he can pass MJ
1. take a PED test and pass it
2. play till age 50 at an allstar level
3. win 3 more rings as finals mvp
4. never lose another nba finals
5. show loyalty to the lakers and rebuilding
6. win at LEAST 1 title without AD or westbrook but instead an organic team and sidekick management attains naturally
7. hits his own bail out finals saving shot for once
lebron has been clutcher and hit more big shots than any player in nba history not named michael jordan
you're just an irrational hater from day one.
this is a bigger shot than anything kobe ever hit in his life:

that game only happened because of this
https://media.tenor.com/RNzYmnPTe1YAAAAC/nba-basketball.gif
show me a moment like that for lebron that wasn't a gift from a teammate
your lens is always the irrational hater lens though.
lebron on those miami teams was BY FAR the best player in the league. he carried that team.
same with the kyrie and love cavs. he CARRIED them. sat down love and kyrie and erased a 26 point deficit:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucAo8M-_epI&ab_channel=FreeDawkins
and then carried the same cavs to the finals again the next year in 2018. that was a championship worthy-run.
you're a raptors fan kenny - you know firsthand what lebron does to teams in the playoffs.
slows the game down and controls possessions.
he did the same thing to the spurs and warriors when the odds were even and slowed the game down and dominated when it mattered.
2-0 against the spurs and warriors in nba finals game 7 games.
why was lebron on those miami teams
lebron even made fun of his own rings from that situation in his new house party movie
yeah those miami rings and the LA ring were important but they dont mean as much as the cavs ring.

lebron scored 26 points in key moments
I was watching a lakers spurs playoff game and kobe missed 7 shots in a row
kobe literally shot 6 for 24 in game 7 of the nba finals.
meanwhile lebron has the bigest block and one one of the biggest shots in game 7s of the NBA finals (dropped 37 FYI).
kobe beat those 2 teams organically without needing to jump on 2 other superstars somewhere else
why is that
why did kobe take a 0-12 playoff bum 1 time allstar in 7 years and turn him into a 2 time champion
why couldn't lebron do that with big Z or jamison or hughes or shaq or mo williams or wait for management to get someone
thats why haters are haters.
lebron was always CLEARLY better than kobe.
you're just mad that he chipped up and got some rings and finals MVPs when had good teammates.
and now you just call them fake accolades and fake rings. thats kinda lame. :oldlol:

He needs 5+ rings to be in that conversation. Played in WOAT Conference for the majority of his career + stacked the deck at every chance in his prime and is still short of MJ/Kareem/Kobe/Magic/TD..
again kenny - here are the best players in the world every year of the decade. I'll even add in 2010 to appease you:
2010: kobe
2011: lebron
2012: lebron
2013: lebron
2014: lebron
2015: lebron

2020: lebron

A Kobe fan who won 3 titles with peak Shaq talking about "stacking the deck".
LeBron never played with anyone as good as peak Shaq.

that version of kobe was a better scorer and more experienced defender but even then it was already close. lebron and dwade were unbelievable in those olympics too it wasnt just kobe. they did defer to him though. kobe actually helped lebron hit his first prime years in 2009 after those olympics because he was unreal from that year forward.
lebron is still better than kobe and everyone agrees better than every player ever not named michael jordan.

is it safe to say that Kobe is the father lebron never had. considering kobe had to teach him how to be a man since his own father left when he was in diapers
this is straight from lebrons documentary
yeah I dont know about that. everyone respects kobe and we cant slander him now because its poor taste.
on the court everyone knows who the real father was.
they compared all of these players to the GOAT and none of them measured up.
kobe definitely came the closest though.
the GOAT and 2nd best SG of all-time :applause:

shaq admits kobe carried him the following 2 years
Surely Kobe won a Finals MVP if that was the case.
lebron went from a bronze medal chump to a gold medalist/league mvp after teaming with kobe and learning work ethic/attention to defense
his biggest leap as a player came in between 2008 and 2009 for a reason
he'd already carried the cavs to their first finals in franchise history in 2007 and had given the big 3 champion celtics the work pushing them to game 7 in 2008 just the two years prior.
I'd say he was doing alright.
kobe definitely helped him though. bron paid him back by letting him get the next two rings so he could finally get a finals MVP.
winning and bringing a winning culture everywhere he goes - bron saving the lakers franchise out of respect for GOATbe:

since you weren't around back then i would compare it to how AD carried lebron the entire season in 2021 and through the first 3 rounds so lebron could hijack finals mvp vs a weak eastern finals opponent
Dude can't even get the years right. :lol
i guess thats how memorable it was to me since i didn't watch most of it due to it being in a practice facility at disneyland
dont worry we still owe kobe another ring. anthony davis will return.
number one defense in the league with AD.

You didn't watch most of it because you knew what was coming. LeBron winning another ring as a Laker no less would completely seal the LeBron/Kobe debate, even though it was sealed by most fans after 2016.

AD is awesome. he currently has a higher PER this year than Michael Jordans entire career
lebron literally has a GOAT level player beside him

PER was created for big men. can't really compare the 2. its an efficiency based stat. bigs are naturally more efficient. plus rebounding is huge for it
kobe wasn't the type of guy to chase rebounds like a westbrook, harden, lebron or luka

have you ever heard of overcoming odds/injuries?
its funny how we praise guys like curt schilling, isiah thomas, willis reed, michael jordan and others for battling through illness/injuries for inspiring moments but when kobe does it hes just playing inefficiently even though it was common during the finals for every non big

2010 he was so injured he could only play 30 minutes a game in 2011
yet you rip on the guy for toughing it out and winning a title
whenever lebron failed in the finals in 2007, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 ( and played piss poor during a win in 2013 ) what was his injury excuse
wasn't ready his first two finals was a kid the first one in 2007 and choked 2011 but was the best player in the nba other 8 finals and playoff runs (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018)
easily a better playoff and finals performer than kobe
was an underdog in 7/10 finals and played the most stacked team of all-time 4 times in the finals - but hey we'll take the end result:
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/MIWYB7qtq6c/hqdefault.jpg
I never see kobe fanboys and haters mentioning the fact that lebron easily could have ended up with 6-7 rings with a bit of luck but instead you hear nothing but buh buh kyrie buh ray allen
meanwhile lebron was the biggest underdog in some of those finals with literally zero help (2007, 2015, 2018)
thats how it goes you have good luck and bad luck but it all shakes out even at the end.
4 finals MVPs.

i don't care who won mvp or who won finals mvp. this is just from the eye test of a players level of ability/value in a vacuum
lebron didn't learn how to become a man till 2008 or learn how to become a champion by watching dwyane wade in 2011
lebron broke out in 2012 then got eviscerated in 2017/18 by a superior player. lebron had the numbers and durant had the deeper team but the eye test told us durant was the man. especially in those game 3's back to back years when lebron got a series swinging shot drained in his face then soft picked intentionally off durant the following year in that same situation.
lebrons career as the best is 2012 to 2016. thats it. he was number 2 or 3 for many many years but not #1 for more than 5 years. sorry
the cavs got swept in 2018 not only because of JR smith. lebron also forgot they had a timeout
17-18 and 20 is also lebron. kerr said lebron was the best in the world after 2018 so that confirms it
how did they get eviscerated. this is why you haters are delusional. lebron was BY FAR the best in the world 2018. those warriors were so stacked in 2017 that they went undefeated in the west and ended up going up 16-1 and easily could have gone 16-0 except the lebron and kyrie are too good so they stole ONE game
warriors that year had the western conference finals starting lineup as their starting lineup.
the kyrie lebron cavs are so good that they would have won multiple rings in any era that the kd curry klay dray iggy warriors didnt play in.
remember kenny - stever kerr who won multiple rings with MJ and coached curry and kd himself said lebron and MJ are the two best players of all-time and "can be ranked either way"
its over my guy.
thats why kd was so mad and salty those years - everyone STILL ranked lebron over him after he won his two finals MVPs
draymond himself said that the warriors didnt need him - even though we obviously know he's wrong
remember - they were one shot from winning a championship after going 73-9 and have won a second ring now without kd - dray wasnt THAT far off and its proven now...
again that lebron shooting gif came from a game that never should've happened unless ray allen saves lebrons legacy and gives him a 2nd chance at a ring
and the block came during a stretch that lebron missed 4 straight shots and needed a teammate to bail him out
you see thats called being a hater. lebron carried that 2013 heat team.
popovich himself said lebron singlehandedly carried them back into that game 6.
lebron singledhandedly saved their postseason and erased a 10 point deficit with his own run in the "headband game"
blocked duncan ran down and then got a layup
it was beautiful
17/18 is not lebron. we all watched the finals. durant toyed with lebron on defense and was making him fall on the floor
https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/8617085/KD_dunk.0.gif
it was a joke. it was when people started making lebron defensive failure compilations in the finals
and how on earth was lebron better than anthony davis all year in 2020 when AD led the lakers in every single category other than assists all season and through the first 3 rounds and was a DPOTY candidate
disagree even though it is debatable.
2017 and 2018 lebron > 2017 kd AND curry
2018 lebron had a GOAT-tier run. you can go look at the highlights. nearly took a game off the most stacked team of all-time as well in game 1.
2020? wrong as per usual.
we all know who the leader of that laker team was. AD is a talented player has the talent to be the best in the league but we know how it went down.

4th quarter of the spurs heat game 6 2013
van gundy says live that lebron singlehandedly brought them back. its right there. down 65-75 with the spurs going off.
best player in the nba during lebrons career
2003-04 Kevin Garnett
2004-05 Shaquille O'neal
2005-06 Kobe Bryant
2006-07 Kobe Bryant
2007-08 Kobe Bryant
2008-09 Kobe Bryant
2009-10 Kobe Bryant
2010-11 Dirk Nowitzki
2011-12 Lebron James
2012-13 Lebron James
2013-14 Lebron James
2014-15 Lebron James
2015-16 Lebron James
2016-17 Kevin Durant
2017-18 Kevin Durant
2018-19 Kevin Durant
2019-20 Anthony Davis
2020-21 Giannis Antetokounmpo
2021-22 Giannis Antetokounmpo
2022-23 Giannis Antetokounmpo
I agree with most of this. just ranking the best in the world. pretty reasonable.
2019 for sure is kawhi. unfair because kd before injury would have taken it.
18 for sure is lebron. he was unreal that year.
why is bringing up this legacy saving shot hating on lebron
its the truth
if ray allen misses lebrons 3 for 10 in the finals
if kyrie misses lebrons 2 for 10 in the finals
thats HORRIBLE. its not even like jordan/kobe whos teammates hit big shots with tons of time left or in games 5 or 6 non elimination games.. or earlier rounds where they never even won the title anyway
this is do or die type shit. lebron owes half his legacy to those 2 men
after 3 other rings you cant say its a legacy saving shot.
he'd STILL have more finals mvps than kobe if ray allen missed that shot. :oldlol:
now lebron has a GOAT case with that 4th finals MVP.
thank you ray-ray!
its a team sport and he was playing teams that were VERY good in both cases.
those spurs and warriors both dominated the west and lebron was the best player in both series - better than every player on those spurs and warriors
and regarding kyrie - how can a player save your legacy when you literally carry them to their only ring of their career and you have 3 rings that they dont have? :oldlol:
leads both teams in every stat - meanwhile he was "saved" :oldlol:
you just look stupid hating at this point. all of your arguments are outdated from 2011.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fk1-Y-0X0AAwSFJ.jpg
I got a highlight for you kenny:
https://youtu.be/H56iR3188P0?t=5398
you bring up ray allen - lebron WAS the 2013 heat
van gundy says he is absolutely carrying them
singlehandedly erased a 10-point deficit but "ray allen saved him"
GOAT james
all of lebrons success is bogus
2012 - lockout fake season, collusion, superteam, big 3
2013 - ray allen bail out, colluded big 4 superteam
2016 - kyrie carries first 3 wins, game 7 bail out, colluded big 3 superteam
2020 - fake bubble season/playoffs, practice court, no fans, no travel, AD theft, AD carried all year
its all filled with black eyes
don't care about your stat padding memes
thats fine.
could have been 6-8 rings actually if dray didnt call kd in the parking lot and if kyrie and AD werent so fragile always going down.
was the best player in 8 playoffs and finals after all (2012-2018, 2020).
just gotta deal with it at this point. undisputed top 2 and will have a legit GOAT case with that 40k all-time record.
2 for 10 without bailouts
his 2 both coming in lockout/bubble shortened seasons
yikes
without these bailouts he'd have a kobe-esque career of 2 finals MVPs.
gotta thank ray-ray and 'ree for that 4x4x4 undisputed GOAT-status career. big time shots. :applause:
I dont think lebron did anything useful for the cavs or heat those 2 years.
must have been a complete fluke winning those finals MVPs (2013 and 2016).
so lebron colludes a big 3, then a big 4. then another big 3... then durant/draymond do it and theres a problem? its 2 cheaters competing against each other
neither of KD or lebrons rings matter to me
yeah those are the same no doubt.
I hate it when lebron keeps joining those 73-9 championship teams. I'm sure his teams still win rings after he leaves.
you know - like the warriors just won last year.
anyone know how the cavs and heat did after lebron left?
do you respect KD's finals mvps
kd broke the league bro. his own teammates didnt respect how stacked it was. you can hear klay talk about it too. kd was literally up 3-2 on those same warriors, lost to them after nearly beating them, and THEN joined them - after they won the ring without him JUST THE YEAR BEFORE
meanwhile lebron carried those heat and cavs teams
thats just a cold, hard fact
bron deserves the 40k all-time record because he's carried the league for 2 decades now
regular season win totals don't mean anything. the 2017-18 warriors won 58 games and were better overall than the 73 win team in 2015-16
the 2015-16 cavs had a better big 3 than the 2015-16 warriors
the 2001 lakers that won 56 games was better than the 67 win lakers from the year prior
and if the heat had wade/bosh and any other random 3rd borderline star they would push 65 wins in the east without lebron if they gunned it 100% all year
so him going there wasn't much different
everything you say is wrong. because you're a just hater and you want him to fail and even when he wins you still make excuses. :oldlol:
WRONG.
anyone with common sense knows that the kd warriors and lebron heat are not nearly the same.
40k on the way bitch
more points than kobe more MVPs than kobe more finals MVPs than kobe won with more franchises than kobe bigger moments in the playoffs than kobe
better scorer than kobe better defender than kobe
better player than kobe. period.
40k all-time on the way:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJk5ovrAcuI&ab_channel=ESPN
so you think the 2016 warriors are better than the durant warriors
https://media.tenor.com/N2JDQPy4DtYAAAAd/meme-kid.gif
of course not.
those warriors won 2 rings and won 73 games without kd though.
how many championships did the cavs win without lebron?
haters just gonna hate.
GOATs gonna GOAT

anyone know how the cavs and heat did after lebron left?
Heat won a title before Lebron ever came. Lakers won 16 titles before Lebron ever came.

bron deserves the 40k all-time record because he's carried the league for 2 decades now
How so? Worst finals ratings all time was with Lebron in it
if lebron was a better scorer than kobe he wouldn't have had as many career 50 point games as kobes single 2007 season up until only a few years ago
kobe is a more skilled scorer but he's not 6'9 with a mismatch on nearly every defender
I think lebron could have scored far more if he was as aggressive as kobe
How so? Worst finals ratings all time was with Lebron in it
carried this league for 20 years my guy and gave you a villain to hate
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiNd8gvh-jA&ab_channel=NBA
so its possible to be a better team with 17 less wins
for sure. but those boys were DEADLY.
curry just lit up the league again last year with klay hobbled and wiggins stepping in.
they nearly went back to back in 2015 and 2016 and would have done so if lebron and kyrie weren't GOAT-level offensive players.
kobe posted up lebron and midgets equally as well
lebron however
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CllRe7KWEAAihOU.jpg
yeah bro. gotta go back to 2011 for the jokes.
I feel you. it's been rough since then for the haters.

carried it to all time low ratings since the games went nationally televised
carried it to freedom of movement rules
carried it to player empowerment superteam banana boat collusions being the norm
carried it to donovan mitchell PED tests while zero for lebron over 20 years
I know. it's been rough watching lebron do what kobe never could.
actually play useful basketball at the end of his career. :applause:
kobe posted up lebron and midgets equally as well
lebron however
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CllRe7KWEAAihOU.jpg
those same mavs swept kobe :oldlol:
https://mikesmitty214.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/broom3.jpg
ray allen and kyrie still have you sick - lebron has DOUBLE kobe's finals MVP count now
not bad for a guy you used to call a choker- he's literally more clutch than kobe by every single metric INCLUDING the eye test
you're right. when kobe was doing his thing ratings were still respectable, PED testing was legitimate, zero bubbles, plenty of contact, tons of loyalty
I dont like the new scoring rules either. these inflated scoring numbers make it impossible to compare eras.

Kobe got swept in 2011.
kobe played 30 minutes per game in 2011. was going in for major reconstructive knee surgery that off season. he wasn't even 50%
whats lebrons excuse
What happened to your Yeezy account, ken ken.
