General society wise? LeBron isn’t as big as whoever of that three you think is the smallest. There were neighborhood watch parties for Tyson fights. Like nobody was doing shit else. 15 cars lined up at peoples house like it’s thanksgiving.

I wouldn’t know how to gauge international pop. Those Korean guys seem wildly popular. A 60+ year old black woman I know talks about them on Facebook all the time. I may not have a good idea how big they really are.

The only performers in history who could compare to Jackson in terms of popularity are Elvis & The Beatles, and I don't think we'll ever see anybody reach the heights that Jackson did again.

And while I don't think they quite reached Jordan & Tyson's level, LeBron & Kobe came reasonably close, while Mayweather was a massive draw. So if I can throw out a 2010's version, LeBron, Mayweather and I guess Kanye would make for a respectable trio.

I love all three but lebron has an advantage that they dont have because - he's the first athlete with his entire career completely documented - that fatass windhorst probably has tape going back to 2003, and they'll be circulating his highlights and propping him up on espn for a while - and I have no doubt he will keep himself in the spotlight.

I don’t even remember what fight it was but probably one of those hyped up post jail ones that always ended in 5 minutes. A Tyson fight was an event. Might meet a woman might get killed and left in a bush. But it would be eventful.
