Michael Jordan wasn't as dominant as when he was still running the show in Chicago, but he did put up lower level All-Star numbers in his two-season stint in Washington.

2001-02 season: 22.9 points (42% FG), 5.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.4 steals
2002-03 season: 20.0 points (45% FG), 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.5 steals

Zone defense only became legal during the 2001-02 NBA season.

No other factors involved? Like being 39 and 40 years old, 3 years of not playing basketball and having an knee injury in the first of these seasons?

That's why i said he is played like a low level all star.

If we adjust for pace and look for per. 100 possesions, then MJ's 2001-02 season would rank above several of prime Lebron's seasons in scoring.

I have no doubt even 39 year old MJ could score 28-30ppg this season. It's that inflated.

No it wouldn't, LeBron was never that inefficient as a scorer

Lebron shot like 30% from everywhere else than at the rim for his first many seasons.

A lot of casuals these days fail to see it.

The only true statement in the entire thread.

He still was a more impactful player than 37/38-year old Bronie.
