Well that's that. Time to trade AD to the Celtics for Payton Pritchard.

Lakers have drafted some pretty awesome bigs... we just dont like to develop them. Not much sense in it with the way the league is today.

Bryant was one we let go but luckily got back... and I see him developing a nice mid-range game. Zubak is another.

Not much value in these players anymore though. Need a big that can stretch the floor and neither one of these can do that.

Mid-range isn't dead yet though. A center with automatic mid-range shot is valuable. Certainly a 3pt shooting center would be nice, but those are hard to find & probably unlikely to hit free-agency (if they do, they would probably be quick to get overpaid - not something Lakers can afford due to being over the cap every year)

Bryant can shoot 3s. His weak spot with us was interior D.

He can score from anywhere. If he was even competent on defense he’d be a beast.

He's not getting any playing time... 10min a game and still averages that is pretty good.

He doesn't play defense. He's also not been used as a floor spacer like Love has for whatever reason (only 4 attempts over 259 minutes played). Spo clearly either prefers Love's passing ability, leadership, or both on the floor over Bryant.
