I don't watch Minnie but that is likely about reputation. An established shot blocker doesn't get challenged as much and so can get less blocks than he would normally. Teams likely as much as possible have some jump shooting big that they force Gobert to cover that on good days will also force Gobert to leave the paint.

yep. Anyone that has watched Gobert knows that guys dribble in to him and kick it or take it back out. He doesn't get challenged that much. Only led the league in blocks once. He is trying to stop the opponent. Blocking the shot leaves him out of position for the offensive glass. Kessler will learn the finer points in time
