Breaking the record from when Jordan played the Hawks on his 98 retirement tour.

Game being played in the Alamodome.

Why? Didn’t look into it.

Do they even have that arena capacity or any where near it?

Had $5 nosebleeds for that game. I remember it was on my brother's bday (Mar 27). I was at Morehouse at the time. No Pip that game but MJ put on a good show. Several oooh's and ahhh's moves throughout the game.

It’s a football stadium that sits 70+. The spurs played there for years but they hang giant sheets so you can’t see the rest of the arena like the pistons did when they played in the silver dome. It’s just rigged for tv. They’ll just take down the sheets like they do for final 4 games.

Let's not pretend there's tens of thousands of warrior fans flying in for it lol

Why would they bother?

Was probably marketed well around town as part of the 50 year celebration and lots of cheap tickets

Also a lot of nostalgia fans returning to the Dome...why not? Not much else to anyway lol

That is actually kind of interesting to me they are doing this.

Each year a group of our die hard process trusting fans travel to an away game to have some fun and create some chaos. It's organized by our sacred Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast. It hasn't happened since covid but is back this year.

Each trip has a novelty theme related to the process era. This year's trip is called "South by South Brett". It is a pilgrimage to visit Brett Brown as he become Pop's assistant again.

Obviously the game wont be at the Alamodome and I doubt it is on national tv, but should be a entertaining. The confusion by the home team announcers is always hilarious. So if you got league pass here is a heads up. Its on February 3rd.
