He went on a podcast the other day and called his tenure with houston 'beyond trash'. A few quotes...
On Houston tanking:
My first year in Houston we were tanking we lost 20 in a row, we was tryna lose on purpose… We was starting n*ggas named Justin Patton.
On telling Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green to not get adjusted to losing
The shit y’all getting away with over there… If you go to any other teams you’d be out the f*cking league, you wouldn’t play
On meeting James Harden when he first got traded to Houston
I'm going there thinking James is gonna be there once I got traded, but he already wants out. I told him I'm about to land and do my (press) conference shit and he's like 'I'm on way to Atlanta for Lil Baby's birthday'. The f*ck?
On Bron
In 16-17 we was gonna beat the sh*t out of Bron. I'm telling you if you do any interview with anyone on the Cavs there was one team they did not want to see in the east. They did not want to see us

I am sure Lebron was really scared of the Wizards :oldlol:
Self awareness has never been Wall's strength.

That last point on the Wizards beating the Cavs is laughable :lol They couldn't even beat the same Celtics team the Cavs mollywhopped in the conference finals, losing every game by double digits. Despite the mediocre regular season record, that's a team that very well could've repeated if not for KD going to the Warriors.

He justified by going through the matchups. He had Beal over J.R., Markieff even with Love, Lebron over Otto Porter, Gortat over TT. And he said that he would have locked up Kyrie

In a vacuum this is actually reasonable, what he doesnt appreciate is LeLeader creates a team chemistry that far exceeds the sum of its parts.
I mean give credit to Wall for saying this shit with a straight face, BUT if he ever doubts of disrespects LeKing again I will find where he stay at and personally kick his ass.

Well no shit he thought his experience in Houston was beyond trash. We were a tanking team full of young, inexperienced guys and he went in thinking they were about to compete

Yeah Rockets are doing The Process level tanking. It is mostly ugly.

:biggums:
You could legit argue washed up current Love is still more useful than any version of Markieff, so saying this about Love back when he was still playing huge minutes is crazy

Wow, I missed that. :lol :lol
Would the Wizards have been anymore a threat than the Hawks or Raptors in that conference?
We're talking about a Cavs team that still had Kyrie Freaking Irving on their roster and Lebron in his prime. Wall is out of his mind, but I guess you have to admire the confidence :lol

Good to see that a fellow German is not a Lebron hater.
Although I have to admit, I was quite a Lakers/Shaq fan back then, if you even can call me a fan as there was no TV coverage whatsoever, after Jordan retired!!!! Only the "Basket" magazine :oldlol::oldlol:
After a long basketball break filled by skateboarding, I re-discovered basketball around 2008 when crappy live streams were available. Watched and followed a lot of teams then, but the Cavs were something special and I stuck to it, post the decision.

Basket, man... used to read it all the time.
Thats about the same time I got into ball! 2008 was the first time I watched videos of the NBA on youtube... super shitty quality 2008 finals videos.
Bron didnt interest me immediately (didnt see enough), just was about Dirk :lol

I grew up with a neighbour from Croatia in the mid 90s. His way older brother was a diehard NBA fan. They had a portable Spalding outdoor basket which cost at least 500 Mark or more back then. That was huge as most outdoor baskets sucked. And they had like every fukking "Basket" magazine and basketball cards. So I got influenced a lot. That's also where NBA Live 99 comes into play. We played that shit everyday after school and got us pumped to play in real life. Although it was the tail end of Nba popularity in Germany, I'm lucky to have experienced it. I fukking don't get why the NFL is bigger than the NBA here right now. Yeah, it sucks that there's not a whole bunch of defense in the NBA right now, but I'd rather watch a crappy basketball game than NFL.

Wait....isn't that the team all the Bronie fluffers were soiling their panties over because LeShrivel scored 48 against them??

Yeah, a lot of people thought this way at the time. Wiz weren't as good a team as the Cavs in a vacuum, but they were a bad matchup for the Cavs.

Oh man, I started with NBA live 2010, my friend had it or had it as demo for his xbox not sure anymore.. used to play it at his place. Was super fun playing Orlando. And then I played NBA 2k10 and/or 2k11 at Karstadt :lol
Good times.
Yea you were able to catch another era alltogether!

You should already know by now that it doesnt work like that just cuz celtics got sh1t stomped doesnt mean wizards would have. Its all about matchups that being said i think wizards would have gotten their sh1t pushed in lol

He said they were losing games on purpose. Isn’t that fixing games?

In a way, yes. The players themselves don’t try less or fix games. But coach/management may purposely put bad rotations or ‘experiment’ by putting bad young players in the starting lineup. They call it ‘development’ but they know what they’re doing.
