starter for sure but i'm a little worried since guys you run your offense through have to be able to playmake decently well now and he's not a good defender. impact is on level of i guess like a jerami grant(better on offense worse on defense) or a better bojan bogdanovic

He would go for almost 30 a game with improved all around numbers. Not that long of a prime but at his peak arguably the best shooter of the 90s.

His game is damn near identical to Kris Middleton.

30 a game my ass, Rice couldn't drive to the basket, couldn't go left and had bad foot speed. He'd average 30 a game in the 80s though, has he's similiar to Larry Bird

How much foot speed does Luka have? And he isn't close to the shooter Rice was.

Luka is much more skilled than rice when it comes to handle, driving with both hands, absorbing contact etc. those 2 are not comparable

Middleton is better at passing and running the pnr so Idk though rice is a better shooter

22 a game in his prime and got as high as 27ppg in a defensive minded era. Definitely would have a hard time going for 30 in a shooter friendly league with no defense played lol.

I was thinking Klay Thompson with a slightly better handle. Maybe a little less explosive as a shooter

Who was better, Glen Rice or Glenn Robinson?

boy that is a tough one , but I will say Dog.
Glenn was not a strong defender as well , but he had to pass out of a lot of double teams when he posted up.
Glenn Rice isn't getting much Cred on here . (He was an MVP for the All-star game , and people say he wasn't a slasher (I disagree)

Not a bad comparison, Middleton came to mind because of similar size and as you said, Rice handled the ball a little more ( and better) than Klay. You could also run the offense through Rice and at worst be a middle of the road playoff team, something we lack the evidence to say for Klay. Klay was considerably better as a defender, of course.

You can see the more modern handle on Middleton and that plays into better facilitating skills, but there are similarties with Rice in terms of scoring and shooting style.
