I am curious what people are thinking about westbrook now ?

Was it that he was just in a massive slump ?

Was it the coach that made him what he is today ?

Was it lebron and AD helping him through it , with comments trade him ?

----------------

to me his stroke looks purer as ever. 29 points in a win over the grizz. :applause:

He's got his confidence/swagger back, him and LeBron have figured out how to play off each other

Westbrook just needed time to adjust to a new team. In Houston, he was pretty bad until the all-star break. Same with Washington. It took longer in LA because he's lost a step as well. He's a good player, he's just not the best when it comes to cheap possessions(comes down to poor decisionmaking and bad hands), which he makes up for with the good he brings over 100 possessions, but can't be trusted in crunchtime when the possessions are limited because you just don't know which Russ you're gonna get.

Basically, dude is a bad decisionmaker so he relies on getting the reps to commit things to muscle memory and instinct, so it takes longer for him to gel with a new team compared to say, someone who just plays defense and shoots.

He's an atrocious basketball player who has been slightly less atrocious the last few games. He scores 16ppg and shoots 29% from 3. He's the worst decision maker in the history of the sport.

Why are you making threads? Stop.

He shoots better from 3 than Lebron.

He plays ok when it’s just LeBron or just AD. He is worst player in the league bad when he plays with both. It’s weird.

:oldlol:

Lebron is literally the worst 3 point shooter in the league, yet still insists on taking 6-7 threes a game

As for Russ he’s improved to the point where you can’t really trade him for just anyone, which where we were at before the start of the season. he does things for the lakers that can’t be replaced so at this point you only trade him if you are getting a good deal out of it, and not trade him just to trade him.

:oldlol:

And yet LeBrons TS% is almost 10 percentage points higher

And scoring is literally the only thing westbrick theoretically brings to the table. That's his biggest asset... and yet low numbers on atrocious efficiency.

So yeah, great point.

I am not the one who brought up 3 pt shooting. :oldlol:

You could have said Westbrooks efficiency was lousy and your post would make more sense. Singling out 3 pt shooting is a dubious ploy for a LeBron stan.

Not even talking sh!t, but very small curled earlobes are a dead giveaway symptom of mother's abusing cociane or methamphetamines.

Russell has to be one of the highest achieving "'88 babies" of all time.

But nearly all his achievements of statistical greatness, comes largely at the expense of being able to truly win against the elite teams.

Teams with far higher team efficiency and lower turnovers per possession than anything westbrick can muster with all that trackstar energy. He has never been able to reliably ADJUST on the fly, due to operating at max speed and full commitment of body weight and inertia in ONE DIRECTION.

Son can't counter, cause he's always going too fast to comfortably and consistently spin, pivot, or adjust to make the smart read or the smart play....it's just an out of control bad shot or turnover.... that sh!t is fine if you just wanna get highlights and miss the playoffs or get wiped in the first round or two... but not if you wanna consistently compete against the elite squads.

Even in old age, he hasn't been able to learn, recognize patterns, and make good decisions. ESPECIALLY when playing from behind or in high pressure situations late in the game WHERE THERE ISN'T A NEXT TIME.

Westbrick is what he is...the most athletic point guard of all time, with the brain of a 13year old yolababy, who has zero self-awareness and zero conscience..

He's the worst decision maker in the history of the sport.Westbrick is among the worst minds to ever play the game, AMONG STATISTICALLY GREAT PLAYERS> But ....There has to be some braindead lottery pick bust who made worse decisions than Westbrick.....

can't believe the hate on Westbrook.
I have to say over 1/2 the wins the lakers have , have to be attributed to Westbrooks team play in general.

If you all hate him , beg for a trade , and if he lands on a contender , you will be sorry for it.

Barberschool is just being a playa hater for no reason. Westbrook is one of the best decision makers on the court.

I feel bad for Russ. I feel Anthony Davis focusing on defense, Lebron playing off-ball, and letting others do their thing. He could have been a perfect fit.
I am still puzzled. I think it was all mental, Westbrook couldn't take criticism.

he ran a pick and roll play once, he made the pass to the roll guy, and he hasn't seen either the guy nor the ball ever since.

does the clip's dysfunctional team pick him up next year .. or does Westbrook walk .... ??

I think PG,ape, and russ should all get out of town(.)
