Did Russell Westbrook outplay Kevin Durant in the 2016 Playoffs?

I remember that being the case in the 2012 Finals. He would have these games where he would drop around 30 points and you didn't even notice him at times. His all-around game back then was much weaker.

Westbrook was having a spectacular playoffs that year but then he was absolutely atrocious to end the WCF. I believe that probably hurt his efficiency numbers a ton. He might have had a better playoff run, certainly he was better than KD before the awful close to the series but it’s a small sample size and KD was still better of course. Although I do remember some people questioning if WB had surpassed him during that season and postseason.

It appears there was some similar talk in the 2014 playoffs. Not to the same extent but people suggested Westbrook was playing better.
