After a rough start he’s finally playing like himself again. 26.9 PPG on 65.4 TS% in January. On the season he’s up to 20.5 PPG (24.0 per 36) on 59.6 TS% and this is after an awful start where he looked completely done.

He does NOT want the smoke with Lebron in the playoffs.

I hope he takes tomorrow off for some routine load management. I do not want to see what he will do to Lebron if he plays :(

Is he willing and able to play basketball the day after he plays 19 minutes of basketball? Serious question. I’ve not checked lately. Last I saw he and George both sat after they didn’t even play 20 minutes a previous night, but that might’ve been weeks ago.

It's nice to see that 'when healthy' he's still elite, but whether he can make through the rest of the season remains to be seen. I would imagine some form of 'load management' is due at some point soon.

I would too, he’s a massive injury risk every time he plays obviously. But when he plays he’s still one of the best there is.

I remember seeing in the box score he played 39 minutes last night.

Dont know what his status will be for the next game but I was surprised he played that much in even one game.

Kawhi unfortunately went down the Dwyane Wade path...both could have sustained their legit greatness for a long time but injuries got in the way.

Hope he plays better and wins another ring.

Wade's biggest asset was his explosiveness, there was no way he was gonna sustain that regardless. Dude was washed completely by the time Lebron arrived.
