Interesting that he would say that considering he was the player I could see breaking the scoring record once LeBron is retired.

To break LeBron's longevity of excellence, meaning at least 18-19 all-nba teams, or break the scoring record, you need all of the below:

1) You have to be an elite level scorer.
2) You have to be elite by year 2, max year 3 of your NBA career.
3) You have to dedicate your life year round to maintaining your body.
4) You have to be "genetically" extremely durable.


Luka is missing 3 and 4.

I think everyone will agree Luka had a pretty impressive showing in last year's playoff run. He would have to replicate that 14+ more times to catch Lebron's playoff scoring record and there are top 10 all time players who didn't even play 14 total seasons.
