Has the NBA had this much parity since the 70's?

Right now it looks like no team will win 60 games and the Celtics have the league best SRS at +5.28 which is solid but nothing special at all. Most champions have better SRS than that. Something like half of the league could win between 45 and 57 wins making the playoffs totally wide open.

Hard to say. Regular season records are less meaningful than ever and the 3 ball's the great equalizer. We'll see once the refs decide to change the rules up in the playoffs.
