He is in a close tie with Lebron for now. If this tie isnt broken it goes to the player who revolutionized the sport.

And he needs three more finals mvps to tie him in that as well.

We have been living in the Steph era for a good 6-7 years now

Revolutionary, like MJ

LeBarry did nothing to revolutionise anything...NO ONE models their game off him in the league or at home

He only have 1 finals MVP. Stephen Curry is not even better than your boy Kobe Bryant.

Steph is clearly the best WINNER in the post kobe-Duncan era. He never had to switch teams.

When Lebron, KD and Steph all retire we’ll be in New era.

Because media FMVP voters are idiots.

If he had been drafted by the Knicks, do you still believe this would be true?

Will there ever come a time where sports fans are honest with themselves about such things? Seemingly not.

Just because they didn't name him the winner of the said award for five straight finals? :confusedshrug:

So he needs one more ring to be the GOAT of his era. But if he doesn't win a ring then...he's still the GOAT of this era?

Solid thread.

Those who can, play. Those who can't, coach. Those who can't coach, vote for FMVPs.

Greatest Of All Times of this era? Why not GOTE?

I could actually see it for him. He came to a team that was shit and they built into a contender. The most important thing would be if the Curry Knicks could have hired the right coach when they would've been on the cusp of breaking through like the Warriors did.

You would trust the Knicks to draft the likes of Klay & Dray to put alongside Steph? Shit ain't happening :lol

Curry is already the GOAT of this era. Dominated the second half of the 2010s. Still winning in 2020s. Changed the game forever. Basketball history goes like this:

Mikan era-->Russell/Wilt era-->Dr. J era-->Magic/Bird era--->Jordan era--->Kobe era--->Curry era. Doncic/Victor era coming soon...

Forget coach. Management is the main decider. Knicks mgmt would never make the Monta Ellis trade. Warriors mgmt >>>

But cartoon-based awards hold more weight in your opinion?

Don't know how an award is cartoon-based.

All awards are suspect because they attempt to substitute opinion for fact and there is always some entity behind them pushing an agenda.

Yet here you are lying about how lebron, a 38 year-old who you admitted that you don't watch play rn, doesn't affect your sorry life.

He is ahead of Lebron as he has the same titles and beat him head to head more times and played less years as well all with the franchise that drafted him that was a losing organization.
