If the game were actually competitive and they stuck with the west vs East format this would actually be a pretty good matchup. Maybe players should be happy with the nods and then replace the actual game with a Harlem globetrotters game

Not bad. Can't really argue about the selections.

Looks like AD won the fan over Zion but the players and media went with Zion.

Dudley ecstatic with relief that Reaves didn't make it as a starter. :lol

So who do y’all think is going to be picked last Tatum or mitchell?

Just wait until they announce the reserves when both Westbrook and Reaves won't be on it

I like the idea of the captains picking their squads right before the game, that might end up being the most interesting part of the entire evening. Actually, doesn't that mean that technically there's no such thing as the all-star 'starter' anymore because a few of those guys may end up coming off the bench ( Mitchell, for instance, is having a great year but you could justifiably pick 10 guys over him and he ends up subbing. You could pick 10 guys over Kyrie too, for that matter).

some observations

somehow ayton got a media vote

media preferred sabonis over zion and davis perhaps because he's played a lot more and they waited till the end to vote

lillard didn't get 1 media vote but is morant better or just on a better team

embiid 3rd among media i would've voted for him

haliburton almost twice as many media votes as kyrie but brown 2nd behind mitchell i'd take harden over all of them

As the biggest Embiid hater on this forum I believe he low-key got snubbed

I'd pick him over Giannis & Tatum this year

I'm sure you're going to try to say being a top 20 guard is just a scrub next, huh? :lol

That is only the fan/player vote. I was being generous.

0 media votes, soon to be 0 coaches votes

Who knows..will you argue that an all star starter isn’t a great player?

Lebron doesn't belong on team West, but otherwise that is a nice team.
