He seems to be completely cooked between the ears. Does he have such an overbearing fear of being criticized online and in the media that he's a shell of himself from just a few short years ago? I guess he used to shoot threes in high school? Is he terrified of pressure?

I think some of this is overblown tbh because he was never going to shoot as much playing with KD and Kyrie. I believe he sees or saw a therapist so I imagine if he still is having mental problems he’s working on them.

He had 0 pts against a tanking Pistons team :biggums: only played 19 mins though. I think he needs to play on a bad team where there is no spotlight on him.

It is amazing that a guy with legit bball skills doesn't have the confidence of shooting a jumper.
On top of that he plays like a guard.

Years ago when I hit the playground there was a guy that was very athletic , but could never take an outside shoot.
He always backed you in , and spun the ball off the backboard more times than not.
He just loved flipping the ball up all the time.
Never saw him in a true 5 on 5 game , and the reason was he was lost on the floor , because he was never in position to doing
his flipping.
Leagues biggest mistake with Simmons was that some how they thought he might eventually have a outside shot , and paid him
way to much for a grunge.
He took them to the cleaners and quite frankly even when you watch him play defense , he has ZERO weak side defense so he
can never even be a Dennis Rodman.
Think about that Dennis shoots better than Simmons....... lmfao

Simmons was an all-star for years without shooting ability. The problem is he is now even refusing lay ups where he might end up on the free throw line.
