Who is the better MVP candidate this season, Joel Embiid or Nikola Jokic?

Also, I wonder if Jokic having already won the award means voters might want to spread the love around more.

Embiid is a legit candidate if he doesn't miss any more games. He has already missed 12. MVP winners typically miss less than 10 games.

I looked at this awhile back and from what I remember over the last 20 years nobody won the MVP missing more than a dozen games.

3rd - Giannis
4th - Tatum

KD is out of the race due to injury, alot can happen we still got 30 odd games left

The voters are desperate to prove that THEY don't get "voter fatigue" and it is a myth.

THEY want to show THEY pick the best player on merit no matter what.

THEY want to make history with their votes.

THEY want to be recognized for what THEY do.

Every time someone mentions "voter fatigue" THEY get more defiant.

And there is no chance in hell that If Bill Simmons' cant get Tatum an MVP this year he is going to let Joel Embiid get it over anyone else.
