The Republican-controlled House Oversight and Accountability Committee has disbanded the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, which focused on issues including voting rights, freedom of assembly and criminal justice reform policies.

They were doing an absolutely pathetic job of addressing our 1st, 2nd and 4th amendment rights. They had to go. Maybe they'll reinstate it one day when they get members who know how to protect our civil rights. Meanwhile the full Oversight Committee has all the investigatory powers and more to address civil rights issues that come up.
