The only issue I have with James Gunn is that most of his superhero movies and projects would be classified as Action/Adventure/Comedy, whereas the DC universe would be classified as Action/Drama/Horror that is more adult-oriented. The lack of comedy in the DC universe has served it quite well.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling about it. I wish they didn't do several of the projects he is talking about like swamp thing, blue beetle, creature commandos, and the Authority. I don't really care about those characters. There are so many other better & more interesting dc characters they could be doing instead.
