The US has now had 2 awful Presidents in a row. Both of our crappy political parties have nobody with any amount of charisma and profile ready to step in and be the next candidate. Democrats screwed themselves by electing an incompetent and elderly guy who only had name-recognition going for him. They also failed to choose a Vice President who could step in as the next viable candidate.

Republicans simply can't find anyone who isn't a crazy person.

Internationally, countries are seeing the US flailing about without good leadership. They are increasingly looking to China as a developing power and a more agreeable business partner.
