Jack Lemmon's performance is full of futile desperation. Good film. If you like it, I'd suggest the films written and directed by Mamet. His loose "Long Con" trilogy is great -- House of Games, Homicide, The Spanish Prisoner

Jack Lemmon killed it in that movie. Should have won an Oscar for this, wasn't even nominated. Shame.

Alec Baldwin plays one of the movies ultimate villain's in this one.

Jack Lemmon killed it in that movie. Should have won an Oscar for this, wasn't even nominated. Shame. Career performance, and he already had a legendary career coming into it.

Dafoe, Shadow of the Vampire

The Academy napped on some great supporting performances.

same, i was pleasantly surprised. i did cringe at how desperate that old fat man was though (in the movie, not patrickchewing).

This is an epic movie, seen it a few times. Although he doesn't appear for long in the movie I find Alec Baldwin brilliant too.
