He's often called the most skilled player ever by NBA players and coaches.

How special must you be to have that title.

He's probably the most skilled scorer I've seen.

He has 0 weakness to his game offensively. You can maybe say that about 10-15 players in league history and he's one of them.

Very special. As in disabled maybe.

Scoring wise, he's indeed the most skilled player ever. Even over legends like MJ, Kobe, KD, and Steph. I'm not saying he's the BEST SCORER of all time. But in terms of his overall scoring arsenal, Kyrie is the most skilled scorer ever. Among SG's I would give Mamba the nod. At the SF, I would say KD.

He's skilled at things that are easily observable, but in terms of his basketball iq, decision making, and off-ball play he leaves a lot to be desired.

A guy like Jokic is the ultimate offensive player because he can see the floor better than anyone else and make razor quick decisions. TIMING. it's what Bird had, it's what LeBron has. Casual fans don't recognize that as a 'skill' though, so they'll overrated guys like Kyrie, AI, Morant and all the other low IQ guys. They're all skilled but get overrated

Kyrie is miles ahead of Morant in terms of skill and decision making. AI also had great anticipation and his motor was unmatched. Kyrie is fearless his only weakness is that he fell in love with pulling up from 3 at the worst times

He's not miles ahead of anybody in decision making. With his ball handling skills he should be one of the best playmakers in the game but he lacks the vision and fluid Intelligence. And the team mindset aka big picture thinking. He's not horrible or anything, just average and at times really bad.

I agree! That's why when it comes to Kyrie, I stress most SKILLED SCORER ever! Because I would give him that nod. If it's the most SKILLED offensive player (scoring skillset, handles, and passing as a package), I wouldn't include Kyrie in that. If I'm looking at PG's, I would take guys like Steph, Nash, CP3, Harden, and Luka, once the passing is factored in. And Mark Price deserves a MAJOR SHOUT OUT for being way ahead of his time for putting that package together.

Yeah, not doubting his skillset as a scorer. He's like 6'1 and not all that athletic yet we've seen him have massive scoring explosions at the highest level.

But as we know, his amazing scoring skillset doesn't actually translate to wins. We've seen him struggle his entire career to win games unless he's playing alongside peak LeBron or Durant.

The other stuff matters quite a bit, especially at the PG position.

Morant is a good step below than Kyrie when it comes to decision making because he has more tools to work with than Ja does. Sometimes Kyrie attempting to score is better than Morant attempting to score.

Kyrie isn't a traditional PG he should be a secondary playmaker not a primary one. Defenses would love to see Kyrie pass instead of shoot. He's not CP3.

Really special potentially. One of the best offensively. Can bail you out from tough shots and seal the championship for you.

Going by skilled scoring ONLY (not offensive player which includes passing), this would be my team by position:

PG: Kyrie
SG: Kobe
SF: KD
PF: Dirk
C: Embid or Joker

Devils advocate Kyrie has a wider arsenal than steph but Steph is the goat easily at one of the most important parts of scoring in shooting the basketball. It’s not crazy to argue steph is a more skilled scorer and the results are there too. Steph is no slouch either with his ball handling and finishing ability

Steph is right there too. I can't argue if anybody considers Steph the most skilled scorer ever. He's certainly in the top 5 in my opinion. But Kyrie is a better post player, has a better handle, and is better finishing at the rack. PLUS Kyrie had one of the rare 50-40-90 seasons in NBA history. HOWEVER, the fact Steph is the GOAT shooter with great handles and slashing ability himself makes him a one of one pretty much. I think Steph is a BETTER SCORER than Kyrie. And Steph is the GOAT shooter of course. But the most SKILLED means who has the most weapons in their arsenal. And Kyrie has a slight edge on Steph. Not a huge gap at all. Also Lillard would rank very high on the list of scoring skillset. Kyrie, Steph, and Dame being the three most skilled SCORING PG's ever sounds about right to me!
